Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of redditscraperapi.com and the Reddit Scraper API. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Ending the service

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or create risk for the platform. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or the rights of any third party.

Your account

You must be of legal age to form a binding contract and provide accurate registration details. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Use restrictions

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and with the terms of service and robots policies of any site you target through the API. You agree not to use the service for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive purposes, or to access data you are not permitted to access.

API access and limits

Your use of the API is subject to the request limits and concurrency of your plan. We may throttle, suspend, or restrict access to protect the platform from abuse or excessive load. You agree not to resell raw access or attempt to circumvent plan limits.

Ownership

The service, its software, documentation, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the API in line with these terms. Data you retrieve may be subject to the rights of the underlying source.

Billing

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing in effect, including usage-based charges for requests above your plan allowance. You authorize us to charge your payment method, and fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that any particular target site will remain accessible or unchanged.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

What we provide

We provide a REST API that returns publicly available Reddit data as structured JSON, powered by managed cloud infrastructure. We may add, change, or remove features and limits over time to improve or maintain the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of redditscraperapi.com, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

Updates to terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

Questions

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@redditscraperapi.com or submitted through https://redditscraperapi.com.
